Todd Forrest is a partner and the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. His responsibilities include investor relations, finance, legal and firm operations.

Mr. Forrest also supports JH Partners' investment process and works with partner company management teams.

Prior to joining JH Partners in 2011, Todd spent 10 years at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, a venture capital firm with $1 billion under management, as a Managing Director & CFO. Mr. Forrest played a key role in the structuring and negotiation of Hummer Winblad’s investments. Mr. Forrest previously served on the boards of Move Networks (acquired by Echostar) and InMage Systems. Mr. Forrest provided advisory services to portfolio companies in the areas of business strategy development, contract negotiation, corporate governance, financing alternatives, and cash management strategies. Mr. Forrest was also responsible for Hummer Winblad’s financial, legal and operational matters and investor relations.

Prior to joining Hummer Winblad, Mr. Forrest was the Vice President - Finance & Administration at Critical Path, Inc., a publicly traded software company, and a member of its Executive Staff. Mr. Forrest worked closely with the corporate and business development teams in structuring multiple acquisitions and key partnership agreements. Mr. Forrest oversaw worldwide financial planning, tax strategy, accounting, reporting, management information systems, treasury, and facilities.

Prior to Critical Path, Mr. Forrest was an audit manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he delivered advisory services to multi-national public and private companies primarily in the technology, telecommunications, and financial services industries.

Mr. Forrest is a founding Board member of the Northern California chapters of the Financial Executives Alliance and Private Equity CFO Organization. Mr. Forrest is a CPA and received a B.S. in Accountancy from Bentley University.
