Michael John is a partner with JH Partners. He combines extensive experience building, leading and managing middle-market consumer companies with an active history of investing in privately-held consumer firms and in real estate.

Mr. John currently serves as chairman of the board of AmeriMark, CHEFS, Country Home Products, and GoSmile. He also is a director at Bell Automotive. Mr. John previously served on the board of Bare Escentuals (NASDAQ: BARE).

Prior to joining JH Partners, Mr. John was President and CEO of City Graphics, a firm he founded and grew successfully over seven years. His experience also includes service as President and CEO of Pacific Lithograph, where he built the company into the largest commercial lithographer in San Francisco. Mr. John has also built a successful real estate development practice in Idaho where he has developed over $100 million of projects.

He received a BS from the University of Oregon and also completed the Stanford Executive Management Program. Mr. John is a past member of the Northern California Chapter of the Young Presidents' Organization.
