NEW YORK, Oct. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Draper James, a Southern inspired retail brand founded by Reese Witherspoon, today announced the closing of its Series B financing in the amount of $10 million. The round was led by Forerunner Ventures, the venture capital firm leading the way in defining a new generation of commerce, with participation from Stone Canyon Industries and existing investor JH Partners.

JH Partners has sold part of its ownership in jewelry company Alex & Ani, the private equity firm said on Monday. San Francisco-based JH Partners, which acquired a 40 percent stake in 2012, sold half of its holding to British buyout firm Lion Capital LLP.
